Here’s what’s happening in the Blair Area Faith Community:

Wednesday’s Mid Week Meal at First Lutheran in Blair is Chicken Salad Sandwiches and chips. The meal is every Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 to anyone in the community, no questions asked. To order take out or delivery, donate or volunteer, contact Erika at 402-426-4073

First Baptist Church of Blair’s Wednesday night Bible Study will be on Acts 24-25, it starts at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall at First Baptist at 205 South 18th Street

Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington is celebrating their 150th anniversary in February... and are kicking it off with a Soup Supper on Sunday February 1st, from 10:30 am to 1pm. Chili soup, Chicken Noodle Soup and Desserts will be served for a free will offering.

First Lutheran Church of Blair is collecting donations for those items needed by families displaced by the Thanksgiving Day fire at an apartment building in Blair Some of those families now have a place to stay, but need household items. Please see the First Lutheran Church Facebook page for specific needs.

Camp Fontanelle’s Women’s Retreat is March 6th and 7th, the them is “Being moldable in the hands of the Master Potter” and will feature working in clay among other things. For registration and other information go online to campfontanelle.campbrainregistration.com

Fish Fry season is coming up – Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Calhoun will have a fish fry on Friday, February 20th.
