The sounds of snow blowers and scooping of snow is probably being heard in your neighborhood right now...the Blair Volunteer Fire Department reminds you to scoop out around fire hydrants, clear out dryer, hot water and furnace vents on your home that may be blocked by drifting snow, and make sure snow and ice are off utility meters. Use of Carbon Monoxide Alarms and Smoke detectors is always strongly encouraged.
