
HERE’S WHATS HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…
The Missouri River Area Women's Connection meets Tuesday, March 11th,6:30 pm, at Christ Lutheran Church in Blair. Dottie Jacobsen of Blair will share her special bracelets. Speaker Pam Schram of Ponca will tell about going "From Fear to Favor". All women are invited to the evening of fellowship. Tickets are $10 at the door to cover the catered meal. Reservations are required by calling Tricia at 402-426-7068.
Arlington High School will present Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man” starting Friday, March 21st starting at 7pm, another performance Saturday, March 22nd at 2pm and the final performance is Sunday, March 23rd at 7pm – all at the Arlington High School Gym. Admission is 12 dollars for adults, eight for students and seniors.
The Birthing, Baby and Beyond Class is Saturday, March 22nd at Blair’s Memorial Community Hospital, 8:30 to 12:30. Labor and delivery tours, car seat safety and more. It’s free, but you do need to register – you can text hashtag MCH Baby Class
A fundraiser for the Blair Art Alley Project – Dueling Pianos is Friday March 28th, it will be at the former Dana College gym. The event is $40 dollars per ticket. More details are forthcoming as the date approaches.
March 29th is the Community Recycle Day at the Rand Community Center in Missouri Valley. From 9am til noon, electronics recycling, medication drop – off, rechargeable battery collection – that’s all free, appliances for five dollars – and from 9 to 11, paper shredding.
