The NRD is giving away free Redbud seedlings at their office on April 24 from 8am-4pm. Their office is located at 1060 Wilbur St. in Blair. Happy Arbor Day!

National Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, April 25. Dispose of unwanted or expired medications safely by bringing them to the Blair Police Department.

Fort Calhoun's Shred Day at WCB is Saturday, April 25, 10 AM - Noon. Place your personal identifying papers in paper bags or boxes if possible and stay in your vehicle, allowing WCB volunteers to remove the items for you. Blair's Shred Day: May 2nd.

A Red Cross Blood Drive is scheduled for Sunday, April 26 from 9am - 2pm at Salem Lutheran Church of Fontanelle. They will be collecting nonperishable food for the Faith Food Pantry in Winslow, NE. Register at RedCrossBlood.org

Memorial Community Hospital is hosting the Spring 2026 Baby Expo on Monday, April 27 from 4-6:30pm. It will be a great time to tour the Labor & Delivery suites, meet nurses, and learn more about their services.

Bloom into Better Health is the topic of April’s Lunch & Learn hosted by Memorial Community Hospital on Thursday, April 30 at noon.
