Women’s Connection is Tuesday, August 11, 6:30pm at Christ Lutheran Church in Blair. Kelly Carter, floral designer and artist, will talk about the “True Designer of My Heart.” Stefanie Osterhaus will share about the Memorial Community Hospital Auxiliary Closet Thrift Store. Movie Night at the Park, featuring Ralph Breaks the Internet, is on Friday, August 14, at 6:30pm at Adams Street Plaza Park. Food will be available for purchase.

Crop Hunger Walk is coming up August 15 at 8am at the Blair First United Methodist Church. The Washington County Food Pantry will be given 25% of the raised funds. Make a donation or sign up to walk at https://events.crophungerwalk.org/chw/event/blairne 

2026 Petals for Paws Fundraiser at Ferne Valley Farm (14896 County Road 24, Blair, NE) Saturday, August 15, from 9am-1pm. 25% of u-pick flower sales will be donated to Jeanette Hunt Blair Animal Shelter.

The NE-Brass-ka Brass Quintet summer concert is Sunday, August 16th, at 2pm at the Blair Congregational Church.

Memorial Community Hospital Blood Drive is Thursday, August 20, from 10am-4pm at the Bagby/Gentry Conference Room.

Blair Schools Foundation Family Fun Night is Friday, August 21, 5pm at Krantz Field. Volleyball scrimmage at 5:30pm and a football scrimmage at 7pm with band and cheer/dance performances, bounce houses, face painting, food trucks, and fire trucks.

MCH Lunch & Learn is August 25 at noon at the Bagby/Gentry Conference Rooms. The topic is Breastfeeding Matters: Supporting moms, babies, & communities. RSVP on the MCH website or contact Coartney DiGiorgio at 402-426-1464 or cdigiorgio@mchhs.org.
