HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…

The Church will be hosting a craft fair on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 10 am to 2 pm at 212 West 2nd in Kennard. 16 vendors with a variety of crafts will be available.

Saturday, August 29, is the Community Grooves & Grub from 6-8 pm at the United Methodist Church pavilion. Music by Fever & The Funkhouse. Food Trucks will be on site from 5-8 pm. Bring your lawn chair or blankets and join us for a fun, relaxing evening.

A Street Dance honoring Tekamah Fire & Rescue 135th anniversary is on Saturday, August 29, from 7-11pm at Tipsy Pig. There will be live music from the Nuclear Bees.

Blood Drive Monday, August 31, noon - 6 pm at Christ Lutheran Church (Fellowship Hall). Visit Redcrossblood.org search blairne to schedule an appointment.

Missouri Valley City Council meets Tuesday, September 1, 6 pm at the Rand Center.

Kennard Village Board meets Tuesday, September 1, 7 pm at the Village Office.

Washington County Genealogical Society meets September 2, 2 pm at the Blair Public Library

Rayne's Music Festival September 4 - 7, Missouri Valley City Park and 4-H building

Living History weekend at Fort Atkinson September 5-6.

Dinner & A Movie at Christ Lutheran Church, 5 PM, Sunday, September 6.

Smash Bros Tournament September 12, 5 - 8 pm at EastgateSPORTS, 310 Eastgate Drive.
