HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…

The Fort Calhoun American Legion is having a smoked pork chop dinner on June 10 from 4:30-7pm. The proceeds go toward veteran and community betterment efforts.

The Chamber After Hours is celebrating the 45th Anniversary of McKinnis Roofing on Thursday, June 11 from 4-6pm at 164 S.1st Street, Blair, NE.

Fort Calhoun has a Thursday Night Concert coming up on June 11 from 6-9pm at Adams Street Plaza Park. There will be live music, food trucks, and fun for people of all ages.

Three Rivers Public Health and Memorial Community Hospital is having a Kids Learning Awareness and Safety on June 12 from 8:30-4pm at the MCH Bagby Conference Room for kids 9-12 years old. A Rocket League Camp for grades 6-9 will be held Saturday, June 13, from 9 am - 4:30 pm at 310 Eastgate. A second camp for grades 9-12 will be held Saturday, June 27. More information can be found under Blair Radio Facebook events or at the EastgateSports Facebook page.

Fort Calhoun Shred Day is coming up Saturday, June 13, from 10am-noon at Abiding Faith Baptist Church. This event provides a safe and secure way to protect your personal information by destroying sensitive and unwanted documents.

There is a craft fair coming up June 13 from 10am-2pm at The Church (212 W 2nd St) in Kennard.

Blair VRW is having a flag retirement and disposal ceremony on Saturday, June 13. More information can be found at VRW Post 1251.
