Washington County Planning Commission meets on Thurs, Oct 1, at 7:00 pm

Stand Down for Veterans event is Friday, Oct 2, from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Fraternal order of Eagles 200 located at 649 N Main St, in Fremont. There will be a Free Lunch, Hygiene Supplies, Housing Resources, Job Assistance and Local VSO’s. If you know of a veteran in need, please share this event information with them.

Fort Atkinson, in Fort Calhoun, will be having the last Living History Weekend of the year on October 3 & 4

The Harvestfest Craft Fair is being held Saturday, Oct 3, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Eagles Club FOE 3876, 118 S 5th St in Missouri Valley.

Fall Craft Fair at The Church in Kennard is happening Saturday, Oct 3 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. (212 W 2nd St)

The Blair Volunteer Fire Department will host their 56th Annual Pancake Breakfast and Open House on Sunday, Oct 4, from 7:00 am - 12:30 pm at the South Fire Station. There will be fun for the whole family! Come see the Equipment Displays, Fire & Medical Apparatus, Helicopter, Smokey the Bear and other mascots. Flu Shots will be available, Door Prizes and goody bags for the kids. Free will donations gladly accepted.
