COVID Increase Prompts Strict Visit Policies

With the recent increase in the number of reported COVID-19 cases in the region, local hospitals are altering their visitors policies. Blair’s Memorial Community Hospital is allowing two visitors during visiting hours, who must be screened upon entering the facility, and those visitors must wear masks at all times, even if fully vaccinated according to the hospital's website. If a patient at Blair’s hospital is in isolation, no visitors are allowed unless determined differently by staff.

CHI in Missouri Valley is requiring visitors be screened, wear masks and other protective personal equipment, maintain safe distances, and have just one healthy visitor at a time. If you plan to visit someone in the hospital or healthcare facility, you may want to call ahead to check for policy changes.
