Ground Breaking at the American Legion

Groundbreaking for renovations at the Hain-Flynn American Legion Family #154 in Blair, Nebraska took place Wednesday afternoon. The project has raised $380,000 toward a $500,000 goal, including a $100,000 grant from the Donald E. Nielsen Foundation. Work began this weekend with concrete breaking to prepare for an expansion that will add ADA-compliant restrooms and enlarge the lounge. The American Legion is still seeking community donations to reach its fundraising target.
