Harrison County Sheriff's Report

Two unattended deaths are on the Harrison County Sheriff’s most recent Activity Summary. One death at a home on 145th Trail March 30th, an autopsy has been ordered. Another unattended death – the person was found laying on the ground at a home on Liberty Avenue. An autopsy is expected in this incident as well.

Also on Sheriff Brandon Doiel’s report, a traffic stop for someone not using head lights during required hours resulted in the arrest of a Missouri Valley woman for drunk driving.

A resident on Easton Trail reported that they had received a call from someone purporting to be a law enforcement officer saying the recipient had a warrant for not showing up for jury duty. This was found to be a scam. The resident was advised to block the number.
