THEFT, ASSAULT ON HARRISON CO. SHERIFF'S REPORT
A suspicious activity call to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office earlier this week – a man with a rental truck was observed loading roofing materials – the owner of the property was contacted. The truck left the area. After a short pursuit, the driver left the vehicle and ran on foot into the woods near 296th and 300th street. The suspect, a Council Bluffs man, was arrested and jailed for theft.
Also on Sheriff Brandon Doiel’s report for this past week, a report of an occupied vehicle in a ditch near 290th street and Loomis avenue – another vehicle had also been at that location. A Missouri Valley man was arrested for assault with a weapon, reckless driving, Criminal mischief and driving with a barred license.
