Water issues Thursday morning leave Missouri Valley residents high and dry.
Some Missouri Valley residents awoke to no water or low water pressure Thursday morning. The city of Missouri Valley did issue an alert saying the town was experiencing water issues and People Service was working to resolve the problem, meanwhile water reserves were used where possible.
City Administrator Jodie Flaherty says a valve was stuck open resulting in loss of water from the town’s reserves. That issue has been resolved, she says, but that it will take some time to replenish the reserves.
