MORE AVIAN INFLUENZA IN IOWA

A backyard flock in Mahaska County, Iowa is the latest to be confirmed as infected with the highly pathogenic avian influenza – according to the Iowa Ag Department, USDA and an Animal Health Inspection Service. The number of poultry which were euthanized in this case was not provided.
