MORE BIRD FLU

Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza is on the rise, the sixth case so far this year has been detected this week in a multi-species back yard flock in Buena Vista County in northwest Iowa.

Ten cases were confirmed in all of last year according to the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.

Three other cases this week found in Washington County, Iowa, Keokuk and Van Buren Counties, and One reported in January in Kossuth County.
