John W. Bird, 55, of Fremont, NE, passed away, April 22, 2023, at the Life Care Center of Omaha. John was born July 10, 1967, in Wahoo, NE, to Jack Bird and Patty Hapke. He was raised in Cedar Bluffs, NE, before moving back to Fremont in 2008. A family celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Brian S. Larsen, age 61 of Herman, passed away April 23, 2023. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Tekamah, Nebraska at 10:00 AM. Graveside services will follow in the Herman, Nebraska Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 27 at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair from 5 – 8 PM.
Mabel Heath Aronson went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 24, 2023, with her husband and daughter by her side.
Jane Elizabeth Davie was born on May 3, 1933, in Soldier, Iowa to Orville and Nellie Jane (Bolton) Smith. She married Donald ‘Dover’ Davie on June 17, 1951. They raised five children, John, Mitchell, Maria, Laurie and Matthew. Jane went to Dana College and graduated in 1972. She then taught school in Missouri Valley for 20 years, where she also made many life-long friends. Jane died on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Azria Health Longview in Missouri Valley, Iowa at the age of 89 years, 11 months and 21 days.
