86 year old Denny Decker of Arlington passed away October 5th. He was a member of the Arlington Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Althea, daughters Hansie Hill and Laura Pleskac and their families. A celebration of life is Saturday, October 18th, 11am at the Arlington Auditorium


88 year old Marge Meyer Hatcher of Missouri Valley passed away October 5th. She is survived by her children Randy, Rick and Russel McHugh, her sister Ethel Hearn and their families. She requested that the be no funeral or visitation.


84 year old Greg Hancock of Missouri Valley passed away August 25th. He is survived by his wife, Gladys, children JoEllen Van Kirk and Justin Hancock and other family members. A Celebration of Life Gathering is tomorrow from noon til 4pm at the Eagle’s Club in Missouri Valley


67 year old Duane “Rick” Sprick of Lenexa Kansas, a 1976 graduate of Fort Calhoun, passed away September 17th. He is survived by his wife, Holly, and their children Sam and Hanna, siblings Paula, Stu and other family members. Visitation is tonite 5-8pm, the Masonic service is at 7:30, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral home. The Celebration of Life Service is tomorrow morning at 11 the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church.


93 year old Les Hodges of Omaha, formerly of Missouri Valley, passed away October 4th. He is survived by his children, David, Dale, Dana Hodges, Debbie Polzine, Diane Methlie, Dawn Pfannenstiel, and his siblings Othal Hodges, Jerry Hodges and Janet Thomas. The Memorial service is Tuesday, October 14th at 10 am at Lutheran Church of the Master in Omaha.

84 year old Albert Bertelson of Missouri Valley passed away October 4th. No services are planned


72 year old Gary Magill of Tekamah passed away September 22nd. He is survived by his sister Diane Gear of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and nieces and nephews. A memorial service is tomorrow noon at the Chatt Center in Tekamah.
