89-year-old Richard Hunt of Blair passed away November 26th. Among his many activities, he worked at the family business - HunTel. He is survived by Maureen Hunt and her children, his sons David, Daniel and Nathan, and his grandchildren and other family members. A Celebration of Life is this Saturday at the Blair Marina from 11:30 to 3pm.


65-year-old Steven Vischulis of Blair died November 25th. He is survived by his wife, Mary, son Alex, his siblings Don, David, Linda, Barbara and cousin Linda and other family members. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.


85-year-old Robert Volk of Arlington passed away November 28th. Bob was heavily involved in 4-H and several ag related organizations. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette, sons Jay and Clark and their families. Visitation is Sunday, December 3rd 4-7 at the Rybin building at the Washington County Fairgrounds, the funeral is Monday, 11am, also at the Rybin Building.


51-year-old Michael Jenkins passed away November 26th. He is survived by his wife, Lesley, children Ian and Ella, sister Cheri, stepfather Gary Siverts and other family members. Visitation is December 4th 9:30, the memorial service follows at 10:30 – both at First Lutheran Church of Blair.


66-year-old Catherine Jan Colgan Grabbe died November 18th. She is survived by former husband Paul Grabbe, and their children Andrew and Mary Anna, along with her grandchildren. Services for Jan Grabbe will be at Campbell Aman tomorrow at 2pm


96-year-old Lila Iverson Christensen of Papillion, formerly of Blair, passed away November 22nd. She graduated from Herman High School in 1945. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Lauritsen and her grand and great grandchildren. Visitation is December 1st, 10am, the Memorial Service is at 11am, both at Trinity Church in Papillion.


76-year-old Carolyn Thompson Anderson of Blair died November 23rd. She is survived by her children Daniel Anderson, Tamra Bartosh, and Michael and their families. The funeral is Saturday, December 9th at 11am at Salem Evangelical Covenant Church in Oakland.

80-year-old Frances Clements of Tekamah, formerly of Blair, died November 25th. She is survived by her husband, Jim, children Greg, Tanis Reyburn, Cathy Bates, her brother Les Major and their families. Visitation is tomorrow, 5-7 at Pelan in Tekamah, the funeral is Friday morning, 10:30 at Riverside Baptist Church in Tekamah.
