89 year old Charles McMahan of Omaha, formerly of Fort Calhoun, passed away June 24th. He is remembered by his children, Mike, Patrick, Brian, Tim McMahan and Lisa Nelson and friend Mary Lou Chapek. Visitation is 10am Saturday, the Funeral service is at 11, both at Seivers-Sprick Funeral Home.

66 year old Brian Richards of Fort Calhoun passed away June 20th. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Richards, sister Karen Richards along with nieces and nephews and other family members. Visitation is tomorrow, 9am, followed by the Celebration of Life at 10am, both at Sievers Sprick Funeral Home.

84 year old Lois Buckmaster Gnuse of Blair, formerly of Norfolk and Arlington passed away June 20th. She is survived by her children -Penny Burgess, Jeanie Samuels, Joli Gullion, Russel Gnuse, Nick and Ken Gnuse, Ken Metzler and their families. Visitation is tomorrow 5 to 7pm at Reckmeyer Moser, the funeral is this Saturday morning, 10:30 at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington.

90 year old Richard Schlenker of Kennard passed away June 23rd. Visitation is Sunday, June 29th from 5 to 7pm at Reckmeyer Moser funeral home in Arlington. The Funeral is Monday, June 30th 10:30am at the Arlington Community Church.

85 year old Rosemarie Marr Brummer of Blair, formerly of Tekamah, passed away June 21st. She is survived by her children, Dan, Dave and Doug Magill, Derek and Brit Brummer and their families. Visitation is this evening, 5-7pm at Campbell Aman, the funeral is tomorrow 10am at Reach Church.

68 year old Vickie Moore Meyer of Omaha passed away June 14th. She is survived by her husband, Mark, children Mallory, Jana, Katie of Norfolk and son Mark Jr., of Blair, her mother Shirley of Blair and siblings Terry, Janelle, Kevin and Tim. A celebration of life will be held later this summer.

75 year old Russel Finken passed away June 15th. He was raised in Logan where his family owned Mars Cafe. He earned his teaching degree from Dana College and was an area teacher and school administrator. He is survived by his children, Zack, Luke, Seth and Carmen and other family members. No services are planned, he requested his body to be donated to the University of Nebraska Medical Center

87 year old Denis Kaeding of Tekamah passed away June 24th. He is survived by his wife, Marlene, sons David and Ryan, siblings Sally Jones, Beth Briney and Judy Brumbaugh and many other family members. A Celebration of Life will be this Saturday, 1pm at the Roger’s home, 1116 N Street in Tekamah.

63 year old Douglas Bliss of Tekamah passed away June 23rd. He is survived by his partner, Tonya O’Dell, children Emily Ellis, Dylan Bliss, Allyson Bliss, Heather Schnoor and Harley Davis, and his mother, Peggy Bliss, and his siblings – Bayard, Lance, Steve Bliss and Jane Vlcek.
