Visitation is this Saturday, 2pm at Minnick Funeral Home in West Point, followed by burial at St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery in rural Wisner. Visitation is10am, The Memorial Service is at 11am on Monday, July 7th, at Victory Church in Omaha at 56th and Sorenson Parkway

80 year old David Barner of Blair passed away June 30th. He announced games at Vets Field and worked at the Blair Golf Course. He is survived by his wife, Carol, daughter Michele Tilson, son Timothy Barner and their families. Visitation is Monday, 5pm, the funeral 7pm, both at Campbell-aman.

78 yer old Liela Jorgensen Matzen of Blair, formerly of Kennard, passed away June 30th. She is survived by her children, Deborah Brehm and Robert Matzen, her siblings Betty Anderson, Bill Jorgensen and their families. Visitation is Sunday, 5-7 pm at Campbell Aman, the funeral is Monday 10am at First United Methodist in Blair.

97 year old Ruth Eckerman Barker of Missouri Valley passed away June 18th. She is survived by her children David Barker of Blair, Rebecca Flint, Deborah Waterhouse, Susan White, Pollyanna Shepard of Blair, Jennifer Moe, Jo Barker, Patricia Branstetter and Lori Martin and their families. Visitation is this evening at 5, Prayer service at 7. The Mass of Christian Burial is tomorrow morning at 10:30, all at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Missouri Valley
