86 year old Kay Sappenfield Frahm of Blair passed away July 29th. She is survived by her sons Mark, Kevin, and Brent and their families. The Memorial service for Kay Frahm is Monday, August 4th 10 am at Campbell Aman.


86 year old Bonnie Claxton Christiansen of Blair, formerly of Omaha, passed away July 30th. She is survived by her children Lee and Richard Vlcek, LeAnn Forsen and their famlies as well as her siblings Judy Moore, Sherry Swally and their families. Memorial services are Tuesday, August 12th at 10:30 in the morning at Campbell Aman.


81 year old Vera Hunt Jensen of Steamboat Springs, Colorado passed away July 14th. She is the daughter of the late Robert and Jeanette Hunt of Blair. During her lifetime, she worked at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital and Great Plains Communications. She is survived by her children Abigail Jensen and Troy Jensen, sister Robley Garrigan and their families and her former husband Michael Jensen. A Celebration of Life is Sunday at the Window Ranch in Steamboat Springs. A service will be held in Blair at a later date


77 year old Eulalia Munoz Rodriguez of Blair passed away Friday, July 25th. She is survived by her sons, Eduardo Mendoza, Gabino Mendoza, both of Blair, Mauricio Mendoza of North Liberty, Iowa and their families Visitation is tomorrow, 5pm, the funeral is Saturday 10am, both at Campbell Aman.

59 year old Scott Stangl of Fort Calhoun passed away July 28th. He is survived by his wife, Theresa, and their children, Ben, Ellie, Zach, Lydia Ulmer, Josiah, Susanna Kopsa, Julie Stachura, Justice, Michael, Naomi, Chloe and Magdalene. Scott Stangl is also survived by his siblings, Mark, Jeff, Cindy Hummel, Julie Harrill and Todd. The Celebration of Life is 10am Monday, August 4th at Reach Church in Blair.

67 year old Cindy Danner Cunningham of rural Fremont, passed away July 26th. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1975, She is survived by her husband, Jim, step daughters Jennifer Andrade and Jacqueline Cunningham, and other family members. Visitation is this evening, 5-7, The funeral is tomorrow, 10am – both events at Mosers in Fremont. Burial is at the Arlington Cemetery


84 year old Wayne Hardy of Woodbine passed away July 28. He was a long time employee of Kelly Ryan in Blair. He is survived by his children, Tammy Bak and Tina Wagner, his brother Robbie Hardy and other family members. Services are pending at Fouts.


56 year old Tim Collison of Little Sioux passed away July 27th. He was a fire chief and EMT for the Little Sioux Fire Department and worked for the Harrison County Roads Department. He is survived by his wife, Kim, children Nicole Martz, Jessica Mc Combs, Wendy Collison and Trevor Collison, his siblings and their families. Visitation is Monday, August 4th, 5-8pm at Fouts, the funeral is Tuesday, August 5th, 10:30 at Nealy Hall in Little Sioux.


76 year old Bruce Johnson of Arlington passed away July 29th. He is survived by his wife, Janet. Visitation is tomorrow, 4-8pm at Ludvigsen, the funeral is Saturday, 11am at Fremont Church of the Nazarene.
