51 year old Matthew Sather of Bennington, formerly of Blair, passed away September 5th. He is survived by his wife, Amy, children Stella, Jack and Marin, parents Gordon and Ruth Sather, siblings Andy and Mark Sather, Lizzy Bauer, Becky Durr and other family members. Private graveside services will be held at the Blair Cemetery


72 year old Paul Haack, a Dana College graduate, passed away August 31st. A Celebration of Life is this Friday, 5:30 pm at the Gardner-Hawkes Atrium, 2925 Angel’s share drive. A meal and fellowship will follow.

70 year old Junior Allen Porter of Woodbine passed away September 5th He is survived by his wife, Angie, siblings Susan Bosanko, Jessie Isaacs, Steven and Norman Torgerson and their families. No services are planned.


76 year old Dale Knauss of Logan passed away September 5th. He is survived by his wife, Helen, their children, Amanda Knauss, Alison Alford, Josh Knauss of Tekamah, Amber Francis and Alex Knauss, his siblings, Hazel Mohn and Neil Knauss and their families. Visitation is this evening, 5-7 pm at Fouts in Woodbine, the funeral is tomorrow morning at 10:30 at Logan Christian Church.


81 year old William Hineline of Oakland passed away September 3rd. Visitation is next Sunday, September 14th at 2pm, the Memorial Service is at 3pm, both at Campbell-Aman.

86 year old Marilyn Jipp Jones of Fort Calhoun passed away September 4th. She is survived by her children, Robin Breedlove, Roxanne Grandgenett and Ross Jones, and her brother Budd Jipp and their families. Visitation is tomorrow morning at 9am followed by the funeral at 11am, both at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church.
