TELEHEALTH USED BY HARRISON COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE 1/5-1/11

A service called Mobile Telehealth with Heartland Family Services is being used by the Harrison County, Iowa Sheriff’s Office. Two incidents this past week involving people having mental health issues where the telehealth service was used, one subject needing immediate medical services, the other going home with family.

Also on the activity summary from Sheriff Brandon Doiel, a number of drug and alcohol related incidents, helping stranded motorists, warrant arrests and a pickup- deer collision on 260th street near Norway Lane.
