Times Are Changing, Batteries Should Change Too!

This weekend we switch to daylight savings time. We jump ahead one hour at 3 a.m. Sunday, just remember to turn your clocks ahead one hour before going to sleep Saturday.

While you’re changing those clocks, Blair Fire Chief Dave Aten recommends that you make sure to put fresh batteries in your smoke and CO alarms as well.

Statistics show that those homes with working smoke and CO detectors have a much higher rate of survival for occupants. (Salvador Dali - "The Persistence of Memory")
