Washington County Sheriff Report 12.17.21

Speeding at 92 miles per hour on Highway 30 in Blair and crashing into a pole at 19th and South Street early this morning ends in a drunk driver arrested for the second time for endangering other drivers.

Also on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity summary just released this morning, several instances of downed trees and debris on county roadways from the wind storm on Wednesday, a rollover accident in the 4200 block of Highway 133 that involved a collision with a deer as well.

Mail was stolen from a mailbox in the 7100 block of County Road 27 – and a case of identity theft.

Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, a 17 year old was cited for speeding at Highway 75 and County Road p-43, as well as no license and no insurance.

Those are just a few of the matters handled by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office during the week.
