EAGLE RESCUE, FRAUD ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S SUMMARY

An injured Bald Eagle was found late yesterday morning in the 13 thousand block of Highway 30. It may have been hit by a vehicle. The responding officer placed a blanket around the large bird, another located a kennel to keep the Eagle safe until Nebraska Game and Parks could arrive and transport the injured bird to a raptor rescue organization.

Also on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary for the week, so far, a case of fraud – the caller says an altered check cleared his account, separate incidents Driving Under Revocation, a warrant arrest and a person driving under suspension are included in that summary issued by Sheriff Mike Robinson.
