Washington County Sheriff's Report Involves Birthday!
A 21 year old Herman man was arrested in the wee hours this morning for domestic assault. Also on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary: a complaint about vehicles driving on closed roads at County Roads 34 and 49; the arrest of a 38 year old man after a traffic stop in Arlington for driving with a suspended license; deputies aided Cherokee, Iowa police in the search for a suspect thought to be residing in Washington County, and monitored school traffic in Fort Calhoun and Arlington.
Among the many other incidents on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, during this time of Covid-19 precautions, deputies drove by the 8700 block of Tranquility Loop and had a chat with a ten year old to celebrate his birthday. The result of that action, according to the summary – the child was quite happy.
