ARREST MADE IN ONAWA ARSON

Last week we reported on suspicious fires in Onawa, Iowa, including one at the Monona County Fairgrounds on January 28th. Two other fires on January 26th. Monona County Sheriff Kevin Ewing, in a news release this morning, says an arrest has been made in the matter. 43 year old David Ira Bryan has been charged with Arson in the 2nd degree for the fire that burned the grandstand at the county fairgrounds. The Monona County Sheriff’s Office was joined by members of the State Fire Marshal’s Office and the ATF in the investigation The two other fires from January 26th remain under investigation.
