The Blair City Council meeting was last night, Tuesday, August 25th. Items included:

- Consider an amendment to the City of Blair Zoning Regulations - "Rental and lease establishments, outside storage; provided, however, no rental or lease establishments for construction equipment shall be allowed," to "Rental and Leasing Establishments, Outside and Inside Storage" to align with the definition in Chapter 3. Passed unanimously.

- Consider Resolution 2026-094 approving LB840 application from CS Arbor Group, LLC and Generational Builders for the purpose of constructing a new three-bay building at 575 S. 10th St., Blair. Passed unanimously.

- Consider Resolution 2026-095 approving LB840 application from Henton Worx, LLC for the purpose of expanding operations of a rock crushing and recycling business at a new industrial site. Passed unanimously.

- Consider approval of the preliminary budget for FY 2026/2027 and authorize the publication of the Budget Hearing on September 8, 2026. Passed unanimously.

- Consider Resolution 2026-091 approving an amended contract for services with Washington County Chamber. Passed unanimously.

- Consider Resolution 2026-092 approving an agreement between the City of Blair and Gateway Development Corporation. Passed unanimously.

- Consider Ordinance 2625 amending the Blair City Municipal Code, Chapter 1, Article 3 relating to appointed City Officials, updating the power, duties and responsibilities of certain appointed positions and eliminating obsolete provisions. Passed unanimously

- Consider Resolution 2026-096 adopting updated rules, regulations, and fees for the Blair Cemetery. Passed unanimously

- Consider Resolution 2026-097 approving a supplemental Environmental services agreement with SRF Consulting Group, Inc. for River Road Connecting Trail project. Passed unanimously.

- Consider Resolution 2026-098 terminating the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement dated August 8, 2017 between the City of Fremont and the City of Blair authorizing the sale of the tree grinder/chipper. Passed unanimously.
