BLAIR VFD RESPONSES OVER THE WEEKEND

Sunday afternoon the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department was called to help determine the location of a natural gas leak. Also on the department’s summary for the weekend, responses to calls regarding chest pain, back pain, choking, two calls to assist a person up, two calls to help people injured in falls, and three calls for automatic fire detection signals.

Additionally the department would like to remind the public that the 55th Annual Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Pancake Breakfast is Sunday, October 5th from 7am to 12:30 pm will be at the South Fire Station at 16th and Lincoln. Lots of activities will be available for kids, including a helicopter, first responder apparatus, Smokey the bear and lots more. Free will donations will be gladly accepted.
