Weekend calls for the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department include proving mutual aid to the Herman Department for an automatic Fire Detection Signal, a dual response with Fort Calhoun for an unconscious person, which was shortly afterward cancelled, response to an overdose and a rescue call requested for a victim of assault.
