Here’s what’s happening in the Blair area Faith Community:

First Lutheran Church of Blair is among those groups helping the families that are displaced by the Thanksgiving Day fire at an apartment building in North Blair. Some of those families now have homes, but need household items. Please see the First Lutheran Church Facebook page for specific needs.

Pantries in Harrison County, Iowa are in need of donations of non-perishable foods, personal hygiene items, as well as socks and gloves. Those Pantries include the Harrison County Food Pantry in Missouri Valley, West Central in Logan, Woodbine Food Bank and Outreach in Woodbine, Matthew’s House Food Pantry in Mondamin, and Dunlap Community Food Pantry in Dunlap. The Community Table free meal is this Wednesday, December 17th 5 pm to 6:30 pm at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley at 210 North Second Street.
