Here’s what’s happening in the Blair area Faith Community:

First Baptist Church of Blair is having an Open House to celebrate the completion of restoration from a lightning strike three years ago. You can stop in during the Gateway to the West Days to tour the restored sanctuary this Saturday from 10am til noon.

The Women’s Connection is 6:30pm Tuesday, June 10th in Missouri Valley, at Saint Paul Lutheran Church. Guest speaker Laurel Anderson from Bode will talk on “How to do the Impossible. She is a former Peace Corps Volunteer. A catered meal will be served, Call 402-426-7068 for reservations and more information.

First Lutheran Church of Blair is having a garage sale Thursday June 12th through Saturday June 14th from 8am to 6pm.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOLS

Reach Church’s Vacation Bible School is June 9-13th for kindergarten through 5th grade. The theme is Bible Science – details at the church’s website.

Hillside Christian Church is having a Vacation Bible School for kindergarten through 5th graders 6:30pm to 8pm Monday June 23rd through Thursday, June 26th. This will be at the 1133 North 28th Avenue in Blair.

Vacation Bible School at Christ Lutheran Church is June 23rd through the 26th from 5 to 8 pm for kindergarten through sixth grade. The theme is “Captivated”.

First Lutheran and First United Methodist Churches are hosting a joint Vacation Bible School July 14th through the 18th from 9am to noon for children potty trained through 5th grade. A Lunch will be served at noon to all families for a free will donation. More information can be found online at firstlutheranblair.org
