Here’s what’s happening in the Blair area Faith Community:

First Presbyterian Church of Missouri Valley is having a soup dinner on November 1st from 4 to 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall at 210 North Fourth Street . The Suggested donation is ten dollars or free will donation.

Joseph’s Coat – Washington County Food Pantry is in need of donations – macaroni and cheese, Tuna, Hamburger Helper, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Oatmeal, Rice-a-roni, and bottled water. Financial donations are welcome as well. Details at josephscoat.org

This month’s Women’s Connection is October 14th in Missouri Valley. Carole McCurley will share her puppets and the speaker is Melanie Denney VerMaas of Kearney, Nebraska telling about traveling the Road of Life. Tickets are ten dollars and include the catered meal. Camp Fontenelle’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch will be opening soon, the venue is a fundraiser for the non-profit Methodist camp – with two weekends coming up October 18th and 19th, and October 24th and 25th and during the week by reservation. You can find more details online at splitoakhollow.org

Reach Church is having a women’s retreat Saturday October 11th from 8am to 3:30 pm, the guest speaker is Deb Bohlman. You can sign up online at reachchurchne.org/events

An Inspired Exhibit. Over 100 Biblical artifacts will be on display from October 22nd to November 9th at the Oakview Mall in Omaha- at the food court entrance. There is no charge. Details can be found online at InspiredExhibitOmaha.com

The Greater Omaha Youth for Christ is sponsoring a Comedy night on Thursday, October 30th at the Funny Bone Comedy Club starting at 6:30. More information is available by calling 402-214-3985
