Here’s what’s happening in the Blair area Faith Community:

Prayer Groups with Veterans meets Tuesdays at the VFW at 7pm, and Thursdays at the American Legion at 6pm

First Lutheran’s Mid Week Meal is Ham and Rice casserole. To order, call First Lutheran at 402-426-4073 and deliveries usually arrive before 6pm. Donations are appreciated.

Wednesday nights at First Lutheran also include Life Night worship at 6:15, and classes for Pre-school through 5th grade starting at 6:45 – at 2146 Wright Street

Wednesday nights at First Baptist Church of Blair are Bible Study nights. Acts 16 is the focus this week. The Bible study starts at 6:30 – at 205 South 18th Street

Two new Adult Education classes start September 14th at Reach Church. A six week series entitled Essentials of Faith at 10:30 am and an 11 week class called Growing Strong in God’s Family at 8:30 am. See more online at reachchurch.org

 The Missouri Valley United Women in Faith are making apple, cherry and peach pies for 15 dollars each. The pies will be frozen and ready to bake. All orders should be placed by October 6th and will be ready October 25th. Call or text 402-250-9552

The Kindness Kits program helps provide hygiene items for those in need...as well as some household cleaning items. To volunteer, donate or request kindness kits, email Info@KindnessKits.info, or call 402-533-3356

A weekly support group for those who are grieving is underway now through December 1st at The Center, 116 North Fourth Street in Missouri Valley. For details, call 712-254-1471
