Here’s what’s happening in our area...
The Missouri Valley High School Show Choir is having the dinner show and fundraiser concert entitled “Decades” this Saturday, May 3rd 7pm at the Mo Valley High School Gym. Tickets are ten dollars for adults, 8 for seniors and six for students. Tickets are available at the door, the jazz band will perform at 5:30 and concessions will be available.
Mo Valley’s Spring Clean up Day is this Saturday 9am to 1pm, Dumpsters will be located at the Rand Center, 100 South 4th street.
A Diaper and Hygiene Products drive is underway now through April 30th for the Harrison County Home and Public Health District. The drive, hosted by the Harrison County 4-H and Junior County Council is seeking donations of Diapers from newborn to size 6, pullups, diaper crème and wet wipes, as well as adult incontinence items. You can drop off items during business hours at the Mondamin Library, Harrison County Extension Office and Rise and Grind among other locations.
The Blair Chapter of the Future Farmers of American is celebrating it’s 75th year and will have it’s annual banquet May 7th starting at 6 pm at the RVR Arena at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Arlington. Alumni and community supporters are encouraged to attend. Morgan Casper, the Ag Educator and FFA Advisor at the Blair High School is also looking for FAA memorabilia to display at that event.
