HERE’S WHATS HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…

A community wide meeting for Harrison County, Iowa is March 31st, 6pm at Logan-Magnolia High School – to discuss a recent survey on area childcare growth and Development, and a committee’s plan to address concerns.

The Blair American Legion and Sons of the American Legion is having a Steak Fry Saturday, April 5th from 5 to 8pm – this is a fundraiser to support the Legion’s ball teams. Tickets are 30 dollars. More details at the American Legion’s social media

Joe Wiegand will be performing as Teddy Roosevelt at Missouri Valley’s Public Library, Thursday, April 10th at 6pm

A Blair MOMCO Consignment sale starts Thursday, April 10th from 9am to 6pm at 6782 Highway 133 in Blair. That sale also runs Friday, April 11th from 9 to 6 and Saturday April 12th from 8am til 2pm

A recent house fire in Mondamin is impacting one of it’s residents, a 79 year old veteran named John Bell. A go fund me account has been established to help Mr. Bell out. You can find out more online at gofundme.com or at the Harrison County Emergency Management Agency Facebook page.
