HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…
The Blair Police Department is participating in the DEA Drug take back program this Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Unwanted, expired medications can be taken to the Blair Police Department at 17th and Lincoln for safe disposal. You can also safely dispose of unwanted drugs, any day, in the designated box in the entryway of the Blair Police Department.
The Tekamah-Herman Tiger Pride Music Department presents Soups, songs and a show starting at 6pm in the Commons on November 11th . Your free-will donation will help raise funds for the production of the musical one act.
The Arlington Senior Center turns 45 this year. A celebration of that anniversary is Saturday, November 1st from 8 to 10am at 305 North Third Street in Arlington. Refreshments will be served.
The Blair Optimist Club is now registering those people who want to sponsor a family for the Christmas Program this year. Please see the Blair Optimist Club’s Facebook Page for more details.
The Mom Prom is Saturday, November 1st at 7pm in the Arlington Auditorium and will feature dancing, games and more. Proceeds will go to the Aspire for Greatness program in Fremont. More information can be found online at arlingtonmomprom.com
