CONSERVATION AREA

COULD BE ESTABLISHED NEAR FORT CALHOUN

317 acres south of Fort Calhoun, mostly bluffs, gullies and some grassland, could remain undeveloped if the Washington County Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors approve a conservation easement.

The Turkey Creek Preserve Charitable Foundation is asking the Planning Commission to approve a conservation easement. That matter is before the Planning Commission this evening at 7pm at the Washington County Court House.
