Open Burn Ban issued by Arlington Rural Fire District
It’s hot, no prospect of rain in the near future and that means it’s dry, so dry that an open burn ban has been issued by the Arlington Rural Fire District.
The National Weather Service has all of the Blair Radio listening area in a severe drought designation, meaning the risk of fire is very high.
Please do use extreme caution with smoking materials, grilling, outdoor fire pits and other sources of flame that may ignite very dry vegetation.
