The sound of shots, and moments later, the sound of a helicopter drew the attention of neighbors on the eastern end of Adams near 11th Street last night.
Blair Police were called just before 10 PM regarding a domestic disturbance in that neighborhood. Deputies from Washington County assisted.
When officers entered the home, the suspect was armed with a rifle and was confrontational with the officers according to a report from the Blair Police Department.
The male suspect was shot, he was transported to Blair’s Memorial Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating the matter.
