Child hit by car and fire on area First Responders summary.
A child on a bicycle was hit by a car near 16th and Park streets yesterday afternoon. The unnamed child suffered scrapes, but was alert and conscious and was taken, as a precaution, to the hospital by the Blair Fire and Rescue Department.
A brush fire in the 16 thousand block of Herman School Road yesterday evening was extinguished by Herman Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Washington County Sheriff’s office provided traffic control.
