The heavy rains overnight flooded some low lying spots and covered roadways in some areas. First responders ask motorists to not cross flooded roadways. The Nebraska Department of Transportation underscores that safety measure with the closure of Nebraska Highway 1 just east of Murray in Cass County. The water covered a huge collapse in the road. Repairs are underway, but there are detours.
