If you have bagged salads from the grocery store, be aware that the Centers for Disease Control has found a listeria outbreak in Fresh Express, Bowl and Basket, Giant Eagle, Little Salad Bar, Marketside, O Organics, Signature Farms, Simply Nature, Weis “Fresh from the Field” and Wellsely Farms Organic bagged salads.
The product should be thrown away or taken back to the store. Symptoms of Listeria can include headache, stiff neck, confusion, convulsions and more. Listeria can also cause miscarriage.
