LOCAL ESPORTS TEAMS FORMING

@EastgateSPORTS is launching competitive esports teams for middle school and high school aged students and is currently seeking interested players. Teams will compete in a variety of popular games and students in grades 6-12 are invited to express their interest, regardless of their experience level.

Players do not need to be ranked, already have a team or have previous competitive experience. EastgateSPORTS will help participants find teammates and prepare for competition.

Teams will practice once a week in a free, two-hour session led by EastgateSPORTS volunteers and staff. Competitions and tournaments are typically held on weekends and generally last one to two hours, for a total weekly commitment of about three to four hours.

Organizers are currently gathering interest to determine which games will be offered and what practice times will best accommodate students' schedules. Parents and students interested in learning more are invited to fill out the interest form available through @EastgateSPORTS social media pages or by scanning the QR code included below.
