MASSIVE PILEUP STRETCHES WESTERN IOWA FIRST RESPONDERS


Six people were hurt Saturday afternoon near Missouri Valley on Interstate 29 according to the Iowa State Patrol.

    

A vehicle merging into a lane to avoid a crash was then hit by another car, causing a chain reaction and one vehicle going airborne and landing on it’s roof. Three were airlifted to hospitals in Omaha. None of those injured were local. Woodbine Fire, Lifenet of Omaha, Wings Air Rescue of Sioux City and Unity Point Life Flight of Audubon according to a media release from Woodbine Fire and Rescue.
