BODIES FOUND IN FREMONT EXPLOSION RUBBLE

In a news release last night from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the man whose body was found yesterday in the rubble of the explosion of the Horizon Biofuels Plant in Fremont – as that of 32 year old Dylan Danielson of Columbus, Nebraska. The bodies of his two daughters, aged 12 and 8 were retrieved hours later. The Sheriff’s office says their names will not be released. The State Fire Marshal’s office is continuing the investigation into the cause of the explosion. The news release also says road closures around the area will continue until further notice.

The State of Nebraska will provide resources to help in the recovery in the aftermath of that explosion in Fremont, including the Nebraska task force One and troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol as needed. The Task Force one will help determine structural integrity of the remaining portions of the buildings in the area of the explosion
