94-year-old Dr. Verlan Hanson, a Dana college graduate and later registrar at the college, passed away February 26th. He is survived by his wife, Helga, children Rev. Alan Hanson, and Duane Hanson, brother Gary and sisters Judy, Karen and Joyce and other family members. Visitation is Saturday, March 11th noon till 1 at Campbell-Aman Mortuary, the funeral follows at 2pm at Christ Lutheran Church on the former Dana Campus.
92-year-old Janice Lorenz Shogren passed away March 3rd. She is survived by her children, Erik of South Carolina, Amy of Des Moines, and Craig of Herman. Visitation is tomorrow, 5-7pm, the celebration of life is Wednesday morning at 10:30, both at the Congregational Church of Blair.
84-year-old Elaine Hook of Blair died March 3rd. Services are pending.

100-year-old Gayle Sorn Paar-Wesson of Blair died March 2nd. Formerly of Missouri Valley, she is survived by her children, Janice, Richard, Jerry and Keith, along with other family members. The funeral mass was this morning at St. Patricks.
