81 year old Douglas Claxton of Fort Calhoun died February 27th. He is survived by his children, Dan, Dave, Debbie, Doug, Jake and Jessie, his sisters Bonnie Christiansen, Judy Moore and Sherry Swally and other family members. Celebration of Life is 1pm Saturday, March 11th at Emmanuel Fellowship Church in Omaha

94 year old Dr. Verlan Hanson, a Dana college graduate and later registrar at the college, passed away February 26th. He is survived by his wife, Helga, children Rev. Alan Hanson, and Duane Hanson, brother Gary and sisters Judy, Karen and Joyce and other family members. Visitation is Saturday, March 11th noon til 1 at Campbell Aman, the funeral follows at 2, at Christ Lutheran Church on the former Dana Campus
