76 year old Robert Osmera of Tekamah passed away January 31st. He is survived by his daughter, Renee and her husband and other family members. Visitation is this Friday, 1pm, the funeral follows at 2pm, both at Campbell Aman. Military graveside services will be at the Herman Cemetery.
78 year old William Biffar of Blair died Monday. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, children Amy Telford, Kent and Keith Biffar and daughter in law Joy, along William’s siblings, Larry, sisters Joyce Johnson, Brenda Biffar and Laurel Method. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

85 year old Elna Mayer Ruffcorn of Missouri Valley passed away January 26. Ms. Ruffcorn worked at West Harrison Community Schools for several years and at Crossroads of Western Iowa. 78 year old Ellen Burke Quinn of Elkhorn passed away January 29th, she is survived by her husband Roger, son Russ of rural Herman, daughters Koleen Benjamen and Maureen Quinn – both of Omaha, along with their spouses and other family members.
